Mrs. Williams' final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill IV , D-11, Space 4. Abbie Inez English Williams, age 87, of Washington, Georgia and formerly of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Mrs. Williams was born on April 28, 1928, in Lavonia, GA to the late Grady and Julia Hopkins Allen. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children, James Marvin English and several siblings. Mrs. Williams was of the Methodist faith. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker. Survivors include daughters, Elaine Jackson, Washington, GA, Suzanne Stell, Bremen, GA; son, James Marvin English, Jr., Clarkesville, GA; several siblings; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Memorial Services are scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Whitfield North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Jay Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
