Mrs. Reagan's final place of rest is located at Garden of Honor,G-12, Space 1. ALICE SEWELL REAGAN, age 89, of Cornelia, GA passed away April 9, 2010, at the residence. Mrs. Reagan was born in Fentress County, TN on January 22, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Porter and Fatima Reynolds Sewell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Reagan, 1 brother, Ballard Sewell, 3 sisters, Vallie Gunter, Vonnie Sewell and Charlotte Bertram. She was a member of the Level Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kelly Reagan, Clayton, GA and Dale and Vicki Reagan, Cornelia, GA; 3 sisters, Ruth McCampbell, Crossville, TN, Thelma Carpenter, Madison, MS and Carolyn Osborne, Mt. Juliet, TN; 2 brothers, J.C. Sells, Michigan City, IN and Bobby Sells, Crossville, TN; 4 grandchildren, Alison Watkins, Andreia Buice, Angie Chaney and Regina Goguen; and 7 great-grandchildren. The funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 12, 2010, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Brian James officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. The Reagan family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
