Mrs. Bruce's final place of rest is located at Garden of Honor, H-22, Space 1. Ann Elizabeth Stephens "Lib" Bruce, age 92, of Cornelia, Georgia entered rest on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Mrs. Bruce was born on November 29, 1931 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Gus D. Stephens and Irma Higginbotham Stephens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Rudy Bruce; sister, Marie Hansen; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Doris Stephens. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Edie Bruce, of Cornelia; Mitchell and Brenda Bruce, of Westminster, SC; Max and Anita Bruce, of Mt. Airy; daughters and sons-in-law, Libby and Terry Doran, of Cornelia; Julie and Mark Hubbard, of Cumming; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Doran and Rev. Jacob Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 30 , 2024 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel prior to the service.
