Mrs. Rice's final place of rest is at Garden of Yonah II, L-7, Space 3. BELLE RICE, age 66, of Alto, Georgia, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the Lanier Park Hospital. Mrs. Rice was born on June 5, 1942 in Fayette County, Georgia to the late Elmore and Nora Burdette Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Rice. Mrs. Rice was a graduate of the Fayetteville High School. She was a member of the Level Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Rice was a retired claim representative with the Social Security Administration with over 30 years of dedicated service. Survivors include: her husband, Rev. Terry M. Rice, Alto, GA; her daughter: Kim Cody, Americus, GA; her daughter-in-law: Angela Rice, Flowery Branch, GA; her sons: Marshall Rice, Nicholas, GA; Curtis Rice, Alto, GA; her sister: Mable Bradshaw, Fayetteville, GA; her brother: Theron Jackson, Fayetteville, GA; 3 grandchildren: Abby Rice, Samuel Rice, and Cailyn Rice. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from the Level Grove Baptist Church with Rev. James Smith and Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Level Grove Baptist Church from 2 until 4 and 6 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
