Bobbie Martin

Mrs. Martin's final place of rest at Garden of Devotion I, G-2, Space 1. Bobbie C. Martin, age 92, of Clarkesville, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023. Born on June 19, 1931, in Young Harris, she was a daughter of the late Robert Turner Coleman and Bonnie Mae Kirby Coleman. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a member of Clarkesville First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Marcus R. Martin. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Marcus Martin (Joan) of Athens, and David Martin (Chris) of Winder; daughter, Marcia Martin of Clarkesville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside memorial services are scheduled for 2:45 pm on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Phil Demore officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 until 2:30 pm at McGahee ~ Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home.
