Bobbie Taylor

Mrs. Taylor's final place of rest is located at Garden of Honor, J-29, Space 3. Bobbie Caudell Taylor, age 85, of Baldwin, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015. Born on July 25, 1930, in Homer, she was a daughter of the late Powell and Gladys Bell Caudell. Mrs. Taylor was retired from Banks County School System as secretary with 30 years of service. She was a member of Tates Creek Baptist Church who enjoyed gardening, yardwork, flowers and watching Gaither gospel shows. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Dillard Taylor, Jr.; brothers, Ford, Sebren and Talmadge Caudell; sisters, Monta Meeler and Marie Wilkinson. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Taylor and Hank and Winona Taylor all of Baldwin; grandchildren, Matt (Sandy) Taylor, Bart Taylor and Belle (Chad) Wheeler; 11 great grandchildren; brother, P.G. Caudell of Homer; sister, Marilyn Caldwell of Baldwin. Funeral services are 4 pm Thursday, September 10, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Jerrell Beatty and Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
