Mr. Martin's final place of rest is located at Garden of Devotion, I-7, Space 4. Boyce “Bugs” Martin, age 77, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018.Mr. Martin was born June 19, 1940 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Vance and Susie Mae Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Lee Martin; three brothers, Broadus Martin, Roy Martin, and Brannon Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of Alto Baptist Church. He was self employed mechanic for many years; and he worked with McDonald Chevrolet. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Chastain Martin, of Alto; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Brent Dalton, of Baldwin; two grandchildren, Amanda Wilbanks and husband, Alex, of Gainesville; Blake Dalton and wife, Lauren, of Buford; great-grandchildren, Austin and Dalton Wilbanks. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev, Raymond Payne and Rev. Frank Sailers officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at the funeral home.Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to Alto Baptist Church, P.O.
