Brenda Gail Mealer

Mrs. Mealer's final place of rest is at Garden of Honor, H-13, Space 1. Brenda Gail London Mealer, age 70, of Baldwin, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2021, following an extended illness. Mrs. Mealer was born on February 17, 1951, in Toccoa, Georgia, to the late Harold and Corene London.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Gail Mealer Gailey. Mrs. Mealer was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.She had been disabled for many years.She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include, her beloved husband of fifty one years, James R. Mealer, Baldwin, Georgia;daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Eric Rogers, Baldwin, Georgia;son-in-law, Roger Gailey, Baldwin, Georgia;two sisters, Patsy Rice, Demorest, Georgia and Portia Hill, Clarkesville, Georgia; brother, Edwin London, Cornelia, Georgia;six grandchildren:Morgan Gailey, Madison Gailey, Cody Carter, Cody Rogers, Bayley Rogers, and Shelby Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel and Crematory, with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty and Rev. Wesley Purcell officiating.Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the funeral home.
