Mr. Buckels' final place of rest is located at Garden of Devotion II, A-6, Space 4. Charles Ray Buckels, age 78, of Cumming, GA, died Saturday, September 16, 2017. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest, GA. The Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 1:00-2:30 PM at the funeral home. Charles is survived by his wife, Carolyn Buckels, Cumming, GA; sister, Betty Ann Cagle and husband Galyn, CA; nieces, Christy Hambrick, Buford, GA, Wanda Herron, Lawrenceville, GA; numerous other nieces and nephews. Mr. Buckels was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1939. Charles had lived in the metro Atlanta area for more than 50 years and was a retired Professor from Gwinnett Tech.
