Charles Westmoreland

Mr. Westmoreland's final place of rest is located at Garden of Honor, E-13, Space 4. Charles Edward Westmoreland, age 66 of Demorest, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Dekalb Medical Center. Mr. Westmoreland was born on December 22, 1950, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Laxton and Eva Marie Medina Westmoreland. He worked as a warehouse manager for Habersham Hardware and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Westmoreland was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Westmoreland. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Stacy Westmoreland, Cleveland; fiancé, Angela Harkins, Demorest; grandchildren, Aiden Westmoreland, Everest Westmoreland, and Alyssa Jackson, all of Cleveland; step son, Joey Allen, Gainesville. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Friday, February 24, 2017 at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, Georgia. The Rev. Gary Heffner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday and 11-1 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
