Mr. Martin's final place of rest is at Garden of Remembrance III, E-12, Space 2. COLEMAN MARTIN, age 81, of Alto, GA, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Martin was born on July 21, 1926 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Robert and Lula Anderson Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Mr. Martin attended the Mt. Zion Methodist Church and was self-employed. Survivors include: his wife, Myrtle Martin, Alto, GA; his daughter, Debbie Armour, Alto, GA; his sons, Marty Martin, Summerville, GA; Michael Martin, Alto, GA; his brother, Vance Martin, Gainesville, GA; 5 grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Rev. Jan Devereaux officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1841 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.
