Mr. Styles' final place of rest is at Garden of Honor, F-16, Space 4. DONNIE MILLER STYLES, age 76, of Sautee Nacoochee, GA, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Styles was born on February 3, 1933 in Carroll County, Georgia to the late Oliver Herman and Atha Frances Miller Styles. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Styles and a sister, Virginia Snipes. Mr. Styles was a United States Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Level Grove Baptist Church and was retired from the United States Postal Service. Survivors include: his wife: Carolyn P. Styles, Sautee Nacoochee, GA; his daughters: Donna S. Pinder, Demorest, GA; Melody S. Weaver, Fayetteville, GA; his sister: Jean Walker, Roswell, GA; his brother: Roy Styles, Alpharetta, GA; his grandchildren: Joel Pinder, Matthew Weaver, Sumer Pinder, and Ashley Weaver. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with Rev. Brian James and Rev. Neil Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Habersham County American Legion Post #84, the Grant Reeves VFW Post #7720, and the Rabun County DAV Chapter #15.
