Memorial services for Eleanor McConnell Nix of Clarkesville will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Clarkesville United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Butler officiating. Mrs. Nix passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 Mrs. Nix was the daughter of the late John Verlin McConnell and the late Flora Burke McConnell Tatum. She was a member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church. In addition to her mother and father, Mrs. Nix is preceded in death by step father Homer Tatum. Survivors include her husband Henry L. “Hank” Nix of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Nancy Nix and Michael Beaver of Clarkesville, sons and daughters in law Gary L. and Alice Nix of Alpharetta, Don G. and Sean Nix of Oviedo, Florida, grandchildren Hank Nix (Sarah), Jonathan Nix, Hunter Nix and Cameron Nix, and great grandchildren Ann Tatum Nix and Amelie Catherine Nix.
