Ethel Kimbrell

Mrs. Kimbrell's final place of rest is located at Garden of Yonah II, K-7, Space 1. Ethel Skelton Kimbrell, age 85, of Cornelia, Georgia, went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Mrs. Kimbrell was born on July, 30, 1930 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Everett F. and Callie Shedd Skelton. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Before her retirement, Mrs. Kimbrell was employed with Habersham Medical Center in the House Keeping department. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Marion Kimbrell; sons, Ronald Floyd Kimbrell, David Lamar Kimbrell; and numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include sons, John Durrell Kimbrell, of Demorest; Marion Dwayne Kimbrell, of Cornelia; sister, Barbara Skelton, of Cornelia; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; and close friend and companion, Ernest Smith. Graveside Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Mr. Larry Whitfield officiating. All family and friends should meet at the graveside by 2:50 p.m. on the day of the service.
