Evelyn Wright Kimbrell

Mrs. Kimbrell's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill IV, D-7, Space 3 Evelyn Maxine Wright Kimbrell, age 90, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, formerly of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020. Born on June 17, 1929, in Banks County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Fletcher and Monti Reece Purdy Wright. Mrs. Kimbrell worked as a hairdresser for many years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Kimbrell and her son, Donald Kimbrell. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Barbara Kimbrell of Panama City Beach; grandson, Ian Kimbrell of Orlando; and granddaughter, Amanda Kimbrell of Charleston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Ryals and Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
