Frances Moody

Mrs. Moody's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill I, E-20, Space 3. FRANCES HOLLIFIELD BONE MOODY, age 95, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014 following an extended illness. Mrs. Moody was born on October 1, 1919 in Clarkesville, Georgia, daughter of the late Robert and Nora Hix Hollifield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Dewey Bone, and her daughter Betty Arlene Martin. Mrs. Moody was a member of the Demorest Church of God, and was retired from The Cornelia Broom Company where she worked as a broom maker for several years. Survivors include her son, Buman Bone of Cornelia; her sister Eleanor Mote of Demorest, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mitch Evans officiating.
