Franklin P. Ivie

Mr. Ivie's final place of rest is at Garden of Yonah I, D-8, Space 4. FRANKLIN P. IVIE, age 81, of Cornelia, GA, died Monday June 5, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Ivie was born on December 22, 1924 in Habersham County, Georgia. He was a son of the late Marion Garnett and Pearl Cash Ivie and was also preceded in death his wife, Eva M. Ivie. Mr. Ivie was a Unites States Marine Corp and Air Force veteran having served his country during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict. He was retired as a clerical and administration worker. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Delores and John Hunter and a grandson, Chance Hunter all of Cornelia, GA. Private graveside services were held.
