George Miller

Mr. Miller's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill I, C-22, Space 1. George R. Miller, age 72 of Cumming, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Born in Chicago, IL on January 30, 1944, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mae Kiss Miller. Mr. Miller was a retired mechanical design manager for Process Control. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary Spivey Miller of Cumming; daughters, Michele Miller & Kristin Pilgrim both of Cumming; grandchildren, Sydney Pilgrim, Ethan Pilgrim and Zack Miller; brother, Don Miller of Eatonton. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 21, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with Deacon Bill Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
