Mrs. Burton's Final Resting Place is Located in Garden of Honor, J-19, Space 3 Geraldine Stowers Burton, age 86, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went to be with Lord on Friday, March 25, 2022. Mrs. Burton was born on November 29, 1935, in Sautee, GA to the late Claude and Leola Stowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Roy "Bill" Burton; daughter Deborah Kay Bramblett, brother, Charles Stowers, sisters, Moreen Cook and Claudine Benton. Mrs. Burton was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a very loving and deonevoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Joan Stephens, Eutawville, SC; grandchildren David Tobey, Luke Bramblett, Megan Jordan, Virginia Stephens & William Cole Stephens as well as 7 greatgrandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Noon, Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Yonah Memorial Gardens. Mr. Roy E. Kelley will officiate.
