Gloria Jean Helton

Mrs. Helton's final place of rest is located at Garden of Honor, H-16, Space 2. Gloria Jean Helton, age 83, of Dahlonega, completed her glorious transition on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at her home surrounded by friends and family. Mrs. Helton was born on October 3, 1940, in Habersham County, to the late Irenus Vestal Ashe and Ruby Lee London Ashe. She was a farmer and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Helton; siblings, Paul David Ashe and Sharon Rose Ashe. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jena and Chris Bryan, and Dena and Brian Cummings; grandchildren, Darian Payne and Donovan Payne; brother, Watson Dwight Ashe; sister-in-law, Betty Jean Dockery; and extended family members, including numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held.
