Guy Reynolds Shore

Mr. Shore's final place of rest is located at Garden of Yonah II, G-11, Space 3. Reynolds Shore Mr. Guy Reynolds Shore, Jr., age 73, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at his home. Born July 21, 1945 in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Guy Reynolds Shore, Sr., and Eva Smith Shore. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was a retired United States Air Force Major serving during the Vietnam Era. Reynolds was also a retired United Airline Pilot. Family members include his wife, Sandra Rozanc Shore; daughters and a son-in-law, Suni Cawthon and David, Dianna Shore and Gelaine, and Michelle Belvin; sisters, Anna Shore Coffee and Dinah Shore Burrows; and seven grandchildren, Jake, Seth, Savannah, Maci, Christopher, Cortlyn, and Mandy. He was preceded in death by his son, Guy Reynolds Shore, III. Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in the chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Andy Childs officiating. Burial will follow at Yonah Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by the United States Air Force. The United States Air Force will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm until 8pm Monday, March 25, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
