Mrs. Quinn's final place of rest is in Garden of Devotion II, T-1, Space 2. Hazel Goolsby Quinn, age 91, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Mrs. Quinn was born May 17, 1932, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Clarence and Mattie Goolsby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, "Papa" Sam Quinn, and daughter Savannah Quinn. She had a loving heart always sharing her time, love, money, food and home. Survivors include grandchildren, Tracy Padula, Dr. Jeff Dowis, great-grandchildren, Tyler, Zach, Abby and Sullivan. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Friday, February 16, 2024, at the funeral home prior to the service.
