final place of rest is located at Helen Elizabeth “Beth” Allen, age 67 of the Turnerville Community, Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, February 03, 2021. Born in Demorest, Georgia on February 19, 1953, she was a daughter of the late William David, Sr. & Mary Linda Bruner Mauney. Beth was very devoted to her career with the Habersham County where she started working in the Tax Commissioner’s Office many years ago. She was still currently a part of the Finance Team where she was responsible for accounts payable. Beth was a very loyal friend and will be missed tremendously by her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed caring for her animals. Beth was of the Methodist Faith. Survivors include her brother & sister-in-law, William David “Pete”, Jr. & Libby Mauney of the Turnerville Community, Clarkesville, GA; nephews, Glen Christopher Mauney of MI; William Nathan Mauney of Jacksonville, FL; great-niece, Chloe Mauney; great-nephews, Jacob Mauney & Noah Mauney; close friends, Joan Lewallen Jones & Phillip Jones & their family of Mt. Airy, GA. In consideration of public health & safety, private family services will be held on Saturday, February 06, 2021.
