Mr. Davis' final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill II, F-4, Space 4. HENRY YOUNG DAVIS, JR., age 61, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016. Mr. Davis was born January 10, 1955 in Toccoa, Georgia. He was of The Church of God Faith. Mr. Davis was a Carpenter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Young Davis, Sr. and Betty Lou Patterson Davis; brother, Harry Nix. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, April and Dwight Abner, of Tyner, KY; daughter, Susan Davis, of Tyner, KY; sons, Jeremiah Davis, of Massachusetts; Josh Smith, of Franklin, NC; sister, Amanda Matuz, of Oregon; Camilla Reynolds, of Hayesville, NC; Sienna Cook, of Maryland; brothers, James J. Davis, of Marietta; Rev. Charles H. Davis, of Clarkesville; Noah Davis, of Sacramento, CA; Bobby Watkins, of Buchanan, GA; grandchildren, Charlie Davis and Bianca Abner. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Tim Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the funeral home prior to the service.
