Mr. Poole's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill III, D-19, Space 4. Jackson Lee Poole, age 20 of Loganville, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Jackson is preceded in death by his grandfather, Grady Poole. He is survived by his mother, Leslie Ward; father, Fred Poole; sister, Chelsea Poole; stepfather, Tommy Ward; stepsister, Erica Ledford; stepbrother, T.J. Ward; grandparents, Sandra & Wayne Burgess and Dorothy Poole; aunts and uncles, Andrea & Jeff Gentry, David & Kathy Poole, and Bill & Beverly O’Malley; niece, Braelyn Hatcher; several cousins; and a host of other family & friends. Jackson was a graduate of Archer High School in 2017. Along with playing football, he was an avid hunter and loved trucks. Jackson worked with DeKalb Fire Department since September 24, 2018. The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Jackson Lee Poole will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church Atlanta, Atlanta, GA. Interment will follow at Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, www.firehero.org/donate/.
