Jerrie Ann Maney

Mrs. Maney's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill IV, H-7, Space 1. She was born in Gainesville, GA the daughter of the late Guy and Edna Buffington Wallace. Jerrie came to Atlanta from Gillsville, GA after high school and started her career at Sears Roebuck & Company. She left Sears to start catering with her husband at Bob's Catering Service. They ran a successful business together for 40 plus years. Her passions in life were socializing with and making new friends, her family, gardening, travelling and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert "Bob" Maney; her sister, Peggy L. Hicks, and her brother, Sonny Buffington. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca (Steve) Stratton of Jacksboro, TN; her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie L. and (Cecelia) Maney of Lawrenceville; her sister, Polly Coker; her grandchildren, James (Melinda) Maney, Stephanie (Jason) Grimm, Jennifer Maney; her great grandchildren, Madison Maney and Ryan James Maney; her beloved pet Pabs. Graveside services in Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 with Dr. Brian Wright officiating.
