Mr. Helton's final place of rest is at Garden of Calvary, P-14, Space 2. JERRY DWAYNE HELTON, age 28, of Cornelia, GA, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Mr. Helton was born on April 14, 1979 in Habersham County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Armour. Mr. Helton was a self-employed dry wall installer and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his fiance', Amanda Harkness, Cornelia, GA; his father and step-mother, Jerry and Theresa Helton, Cleveland, GA; his mother and step-father, Donna Fuller and Vince Ferrera, Gainesville, GA; his daughter: Desiree Helton, Gainesville, GA; his sons: Christian Diaz Helton, Gainesville, GA; Donovan Helton, Decatur, GA; step-sisters: Hope Wanstreet, Baldwin, GA; Falon Scott, Duluth, GA; brothers: Jeremy Helton, Cornelia, GA; Kevin Armour, Alto, GA; step-brother, Jeremiah Scott, Cleveland, GA; paternal grandparents: Roy and Thelma Helton, Cleveland, GA; maternal grandparents: Ora Belle and Tommy Martin, Gainesville, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Bill Trotter officiating.
