Mr. Loudermilk's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill I, D-14, Sp 4. Jerry Lynn Loudermilk, age 65, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, surrounded by his family and friends. Mr. Loudermilk was born on May 8, 1957 in Habersham County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Judge Lester Loudermilk; brother-in-law, Johnny Briggs. Jerry was a wonderful person who loved everyone. He always had a smile on his face and was a friend to all he met. He worked at Fieldale Corporation as a Mechanic for over 44 years. He enjoyed shooting, fishing, and hiking in the woods. Jerry will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Loudermilk; mother, Elizabeth Loudermilk; children, Dana Roach, Joshua Loudermilk, Lisa Lillie; grandchildren, Jermaine, Nigel, Logan; and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Briggs, Barbara Dalton, Joy Wilbanks and her husband, Marshall, and Gail Asato. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Homes, North Chapel with Pastor Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2023 at the funeral home prior to the service.
