Jodi Lane Gerrell

Ms. Gerrell's final place of rest is located at Garden of Remembrance III, B-6, Space 3. Jodi Lane Williams Gerrell, age 42 of Cornelia, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018. Born in Stephens County, Georgia on October 7, 1975, she was a daughter of Billy Joe and Brenda Shirley Williams of Cornelia. Ms. Gerrell was of the Holiness faith and enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping and her dogs. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Jones. Surviving are son, Blake Gerrell (Amy Jones) of Clarkesville; daughters, Maddie Gerrell and Cierra “C.J.” Martin of Cornelia; brothers and sister-in-law, Cory and Leah Williams of Homer and Joey Williams of Cornelia; sister, Leta Chantay “Chan” Williams of Cornelia; grandchildren, Sawyer, Jonah and Hazel Gerrell; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Funeral services are 2 pm Sunday, February 25, 2018, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Terry Benfield and Rev. Gary Osteen officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
