KATHRYN LOUISE MAUGHON DUNCAN, age 75, of Clarkesville, GA passed away Monday, April 26, 2010, following an extended illness. Ms. Duncan was born in Morgan County, GA on August 28, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings. Ms. Duncan attended Cornelia Church of God. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Bruce Canup, Clarkesville, GA, Audrey and Donald Wilson, Lula, GA, Shelia and Cliff Williams, Clarkesville, GA, Bobbie and Thomas Matthews, Clarkesville, GA and Karen and Kenneth Cash, Clarkesville, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Carolyn Gunn, Clarkesville, GA and Ricky and Judy Gunn, Clarkesville, GA; 4 siblings, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Jason Thornton and Rev. Austin Ivester officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
