Mrs. Gove's final place of rest is at Garden of Devotion I, L-3, Space 2. L. BESSIE GOVE, age 101 of Cornelia, GA died Saturday, March 1, 2008 at a private care facility in Dallas, GA. Mrs. Gove was born on April 21, 1906 in Fayette County, West Virginia to the Late James Mason and Rosa Belle Hanson Gilkeson. She was preceded in death by husband, Wesley Gove. Mrs. Gove was a member of The Red Hat Society and a member of First Baptist Church of Cornelia and was a homemaker. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include daughter, Diana K. Dulaney, Hiram, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Carol & Charles Allen, Apple Valley, CA, daughter, Patricia Breckenridge, Massilon, OH, step-daughter, Martha Baer, Lesterville, SD, seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. David Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, March 3, 2008 at the funeral home.
