Mr. Crowe's final place of rest is at Garden of Devotion I, R-8, Space 2. LARRY GENE CROWE, age 58, of Demorest, GA died Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Crowe was born July 22, 1947 in Habersham County, GA, to the late Curtis and Francis Lewallen Crowe and was also preceded in death by his wife, Julie Savage Crowe. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Crowe and a sister, Betty Moss. Mr. Crowe was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church and was a retired carpenter. Survivors are: fiance', Sarah Youngblood Moore, Lula, GA, a daughter and son-in-law: Tina & Donnie Barrs, Clarkesville, GA, a son and daughter-in-law: Jamieand Candace Crowe, Demorest, GA, sisters: Gayle Whitener, Hollywood, GA, Gloria Rogers, Tiger, GA, Jackque Evans, Clarkesville, GA, Debra Mote, Toccoa, GA, brothers: Bobby Crowe, Demorest, GA, Nelson Crowe, Clarkesville, GA and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 18, 2006 from the Cornelia Congregational Holiness Church with the Rev. Scott Ledbetter, Rev. Tony Royston and Rev. Michael Rogers. Burial will follow at Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest. Mr. Crowe will lie in state at the church at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 18, 2006. The family will receive friends Monday, July 17, 2006 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
