Lena Edna Brady

Mrs. Brady's final place of rest is located at Garden of Remembrance III, B-11, Space 1. Lena Edna Forrester Brady, age 88, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Mrs. Brady was born on March 11, 1932 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Rossie and Geneva Powers Forrester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom Henry Brady; brothers, Leo Forrester, Earl Forrester; sisters, Mary Jane Taylor, Pearl Williams, and Dexter Stewart; step-son, Tom Henry Brady, Jr. Mrs. Brady was a lifelong member of New Hope Baptist and Level Grove Baptist Church where she was a an active member of the Truth Seeker Sunday School Class and the Sunshine Band; she also was a member of the Order of the Easter Star #480. Mrs. Brady was a 1949 Graduate of Baldwin High School. She served as a secretary for Scovill Manufacturing for 17 years, also serving Martin Distributing Company in Charlotte, North Carolina for 10 years. Survivors include her loving nieces and nephews. A Private Family Graveside will be held at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Robert Nix and Rev. Terry Rice officiating.
