Mrs. Parfitt's final place of rest is located at Garden of Calvary, P-10, Space 2. Lillian Parfitt Stewart, age 92, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016. Mrs. Stewart was born on April 23, 1924, in Pewsey, England, to the late John Walter and Minnie Browlow Parfitt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene E. Stewart and daughter, Brenda Stewart. Mrs. Stewart was a retired greeter with Walmart. She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Glenn Crumley, Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Elizabeth Stewart, Augusta; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Dr. Roy G. Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, December 9, 2016, at the funeral home.
