Mrs. Doran's final place of rest is at Garden of Calvary, N-9, Space 2. LINDA VALENTINE DORAN, age 67, of Mud Creek Road, Cornelia, GA, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Doran was born on January 26, 1940 in Puryear, Tennessee to the late Rex Conway and Celie Addie Byars Valentine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Ann Valentine. Mrs. Doran was a member of the Cornelia First Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. Linda was a homemaker and a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her loving family, husband, Steve Doran; daughter and son-in-law, Tammye* and Grant Bentley; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Libby Doran; and grandchildren Macey and Murphy Doran, all of Cornelia, Georgia. Her brother and sister-in-law: Larry and Carolyn Valentine, Puryear, Tennessee; a niece, Gayle Patrum and nephews, Marty, Dustin, and Justin Valentine. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2007 from the Cornelia First Baptist Church with Rev. David Turner and Rev. Steve Doran officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Cornelia, Family Life Center, Principle Reduction, P.O. Box 96, Cornelia, GA 30531.
