Mrs. Bryant's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill I, H-10, Space 4. Funeral services for Louise Sutton Bryant, age 94 of Clarkesville will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Tommy Stowe will officiate with interment to follow the service in Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Bryant passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. Born on July 18, 1922 in the Batesville Community of Habersham County, Mrs. Bryant was the daughter of the late Vaughn and Susie Smith Sutton. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a retired machinist with Scovill Fasteners, Inc. Louise was a gifted gardener, she could make anything grow with care and ease. She was a very loving and giving woman who cared unconditionally for others. She was a caregiver to many of her family members, and always took the role willingly. Louise touched her family with her generous heart and her loving nature. She was the last member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bryant is preceded in death by daughter Rebecca (Becky) Bryant Lamb, sister Irene Sutton Land (Quinton), brothers James Sutton (Mozelle), Edgar Sutton (Eloise), Lawrence Sutton (Alleen) and Lester Sutton (Jimmie), and niece Anne Sutton Hill (Larry). Survivors include granddaughters Robyn Stowe Tracy (Corey) and Eve Lamb Phillips (Matt), great grandson Bryce Funk, nieces and nephews Truitt Sutton (Sally), Wanda Sutton Pruitt (Randy), Randy Sutton (Anne), Anita Parker (D-Tommy), Tom Land, Brian Sutton (D-Margaret) and Clark Sutton (Jeanene), as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews.
