Mrs. Thomas' final place of rest is located at Garden of Devotion II, F-4, Space 1. Louise Thomas, age 69, of Alto, Georgia, went to be with The Lord on Monday, March 26, 2018. Mrs. Thomas was born on June 13, 1948 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Houston Dover and Rosanell Childers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Hooper . Mrs. Thomas was of the Christian Faith. She retired from Lumite in Gainesville with 26 years of loyal and dedicated service. Survivors include her husband, J.N. Thomas of Alto; daughter, Lisa Walton, of Alto; Tiffany and Kerwin Scroggs, of Demorest; grandchildren, Dustin Mull; Beyaccia Atkins; Jared Scroggs; Brooklyn Scroggs; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Nelson Walden officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
