Margaret Peggy Morgan

Mrs. Morgan's final place of rest is located at Garden of Remembrance III, B-13, Space 3. Margaret C. “Peggy” Morgan, age 87, of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Mt. Airy, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 25, 2018. Mrs. Morgan was born on December 29, 1930, in Durham, North Carolina; a daughter of the late Frank and Martha Toney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lee “Rus” Morgan and brother, Richard Toney. Mrs. Morgan was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved cooking, gardening, painting, crafts, sewing, and playing her piano. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cornelia. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debby and Vance Vermilya of Clayton; sons, Rusty Morgan of Georgia and Brad Morgan of Olathe, KS; son and daughter-in-law, David and Cheryl Morgan of Lenexa, KS; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 6, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church of Cornelia with Rev. Blaine Walker officiating.
