Mrs. Ricketson's final place of rest is at Garden of Yonah II, D-9, Space 1. Margaret Louise Ricketson, age 93, of Clarkesville, Georgia was reunited with her loving husband on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Mrs. Ricketson was born on September 10, 1927 in Mexico, MO. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, G.B. "Jobie" Ricketson; mother, Eda Mae Foreman Staples; father and step-mother, John Elsie Staples; daughter-in-law, Kay Ricketson; brothers, Howard Staples, James Staples; sister, Eunice Staples. Mrs. Ricketson was a member for over 60 years of First United Methodist Church of Clarkesville. Survivors include her son, Gary Ricketson, of Clarkesville; brothers, Bob Staples, of Homestead, FL; Johnny Staples, of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Stephanie Ricketson, Misty Doss, Darren Brown, Pepper Short; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Pastor Keith Cox officiating. The family will receive friends directly following the graveside service.
