Mary Shambaugh

Ms. Shambaugh's final place of rest is at Garden of Devotion I, G-2, Space 4. Mary Shambaugh, age 86, of Clarkesville, GA died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the residence following an extended illness. Ms. Shambaugh was born in Marion Co. Indiana on March 29, 1921, to the late Rece W and Viola Sparks Stacey. She was preceded in death by four children Thomas, Raymond, Judy, and Sharon, brother: Eugene Stacey; sister: Pearl Stacey; Ms. Shambaugh was retired from General Motors Corp. after 30 years of service. Survivors included: daughter: Shirley Ballard, Clarkesville, GA; son: Ralph VanDuyn, Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren 17, great-grandchildren 33, great-great-children 6. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from the funeral home on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, from 6 until 8 pm. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
