Mrs. Nichols' final place of rest is located at Garden of Remembrance II, G-13, Space 3. Funeral services for Myrtle Brookshire Nichols, age 95, of Clarkesville, will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at 2:00 pm from the Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenneth McEntyre officiating. Burial will follow at Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 3rd from 6:30 PM until 8 PM. Mrs. Nichols passed away November 1, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GAl Born in Canton, NC on January 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ila Bolden Brookshire. She was the wife of the late Brady Nichols. She was a retired seamstress and homemaker. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law: Cairethel Nichols of Clarkesville, Launia and LC Hurt of Mt. Airy; Son and daughter-in-law Grady and Margie Nichols of Alpharetta; Sister-in-law Elsie Brookshire of Old Fort, NC; Two grandchildren Terrill Nichols (Rhonda), Renee Baiocco (Steve); and four great grandchildren.
