Mrs. Baxter's final place of rest is located at Garden of Honor, H-22, Space 3. PAT SNYDER BAXTER, age 72, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015. Mrs. Baxter was born on August 17, 1943 in Cornelia, Georgia to Ernest and Mattie Lee Crocker Snyder. She was a graduate of South Habersham High School. She was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church, and was well known as a pianist and organist. She was a retired secretary with Jim Butterworth Attorney at Law with several years of service. She was formerly employed with Judge Jack Adams Law Firm. She was a great Mother and Grandmother. She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Snyder; husband, Steve Baxter; and brother, Billy Snyder. Survivors include her mother, Mattie Lee Crocker Snyder, of Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Ben Hardman, of Demorest; son Chuck Baxter, of Demorest; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Kay Snyder, of South Haven, MS.; Buck and Nellie Snyder, of Cornelia; 3 grandchildren, Susan Patricia Khadayat; Mika Faith and Wesley Moore; Brandon Steve L.B. Khadayat; 2 great grandchildren are expected soon. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Terry Rice and Mr. Brandon Khadayat to officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev, Chris Webb to officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2015. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Gideons International, P.O.
