Priscilla Jones

Ms. Jones' final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill II, B-23, Space 4. Ms. Priscilla Wilkins Jones, age 64 of Sautee Nacoochee passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Athens Regional Hospital following an extended illness. Ms. Jones was born April 5, 1946 in Suches to the late J.M. and Odessia Elders Wilkins. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her son, John Joel Abraham Jones, daughters, Pepper Lee Jones, Betty Lee Jones. Survivors include her son, Floyd Jones, Sautee; sister, Mary Karen Sheikh; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and John Strong; brother, Nathan Wilkins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Karen Wilkins; Harvey and Dorothy Wilkins; Ronald and Dee Wilkins, all of Michigan; “Chubs” and “Buddy” and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, September 11, 2010 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Lester Haynes, Rev. Jack Enloe, and Rev. Brian Stephens will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 Friday at the funeral home.
