Mrs. Childers' final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill III, E-3, Space 3. Reba Adams Childers, age 86, of Loganville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Mrs. Childers was born on March 27, 1934 to the late Luther Gordon and Lassie Mae Adams In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Levi Childers, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Deana C. Helms, of Smyrna; son and daughter-in-law, James G. and Marie Childers, of Dacula; grandchildren, Jeremy Childers and Katie; Katie Newton and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Grace, Luke, Adam, and Graclyn; brother and sister-in-law, Branson and Lynn Adams, of Cornelia; sisters-in-law, Martha Adams, of Clarkesville; LaMerle Edwards, of Cleveland. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel.
