Robert "Bob" Howard Cheshire

Mr. Cheshire's final place of rest is at Garden of Honor, J-30, Space 4. ROBERT HOWARD "BOB" CHESHIRE, age 75, of Demorest, Georgia, died Monday, April 2, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Cheshire was born on July 14, 1931 in Belview, N.J. to the late William and Sadie Vautin Miller. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Cagle Cheshire. He was a former member and Treasurer of Cornelia Lions Club. Mr. Cheshire was a U S Marine Corp Veteran, and retired from Lee Arrendale State Prison, Security Officer with 34 years of service. Survivors include: Daughter: Regina Cheshire, Reno, Nevada; Step-daughter: Brenda Wallace Kilcollins, Reno, Nevada; two sisters: Florence Lucas, San Jose, CA and Ethel Waring, Hillsdale, N.J.; one brother: Bill Miller, Cape May, N.J. one granddaughter: Jorie Cheshire, Reno, Nevada; 2 step-grandchildren: Kimberly McCollum, Sparks, NV; Tony Kilcollins, Chico, CA. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 from Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Steve Doran officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors by the Rabun Co. D.A.V. Chapter #15 and the Habersham Co. American Legion Post #84.
