Mr. Robert Franklin Bone's final place of rest is at Garden of Remembrance II, A-4, Space 2. Robert Franklin Bone, age 88 of Demorest, GA went to be with the lord on September 28, 2007 at Habersham County Medical Center. Mr. Bone was born on May 5, 1919, in Madison County. He was the son of the late Robert and Pearl Glenn Bone. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Seagraves Bone; sisters: Lillie Merle Kesler and Eveyln Allen. Mr. Bone was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing Company of Cornelia, GA with 34 years of service. He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, and member of Cornelia Lodge # 92 F&AM: He was recognized for 60 years as a free mason by the Grand Lodge of GA. Survivors include his daughter Nancy Bone Barron and her husband Dr. Robert Barron of Cornelia; grandson: Jeffery Barron and his wife Dawn Barron; Granddaughter: Anna Barron and her fiance' Daniel Ferguson; great-grandchildren; Annalise and James Barron. He is also survived by his brother Glenn Bone and wife Shirley Bone of Winterville; special friend and companion: Alice Duff and her daughter Libby Crawford and husband Spot; granddaughters Mandee and Megan Crawford; son Billy Duff and wife Denise and their son Travis; grandson Andy and his wife Ester Duff of Gainesville. Funeral services for Robert Franklin Bone, will he held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday September 30, 2007 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with the reverends Bobby Watson, Larry Free, Brian James and Billy Harris officiating.
