Robert Cook

Mr. Cook's final place of rest is located at Garden of Yonah II, F-18, Space 2. Robert Hargrove Cook, age 88, of Alto, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Mr. Cook was born on November 25, 1930 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Sparta and Elma Lee Cook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, and two sisters. Hargrove was the last of his immediate family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Hazel Martin Cook, of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, David and Angela Cook, of Alto; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Jon Bryson, of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, WIlliam, Tyler, and Jessica, all of Alto; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Chad Parker officating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will accept friends from 2:00 p.m., to 2:50 p.m., on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
