Roberta Hagan

Roberta Hagan, age 88 of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020. Mrs. Hagan was born Nov. 10, 1931, in Clarkesville, GA. to the late James and Stevie Sosebee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Sue Hagan; sisters, Imogene S. Goodman Wall and Betty S. Williams; a brother, Donald Sosebee. Roberta was a secretary, care-giver, homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed singing, listening to good music, square dancing and travel, especially cruising. She was a member of Cornelia United Methodist Church where she was active in choir, UMW and Fellowship Sunday School class. Survivors include her husband, John E. Hagan, daughter, Karen E. Hagan, son and daughter-in-law, John R. and Su Hagan, grandson, Christopher Hagan, sisters, Joyce Jones and Loyce Guthrie; brother. Kent Sosebee. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel. Rev. Johnny Ray and Rev. Phil DeMore will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the Habersham Christian Learning Center, 188 Owens Circle, Mt. Airy, GA 30563.
