Ronald Mccune

Mr. McCune's final place of rest is located at Garden of Devotion I, T-5, Space 2. Ronald “Ronnie” McCune, age 75 of Cornelia, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. Born in Fulton County on December 16, 1939, he was a son of the late Wiley Ross and Bessie Dudley McCune. Mr. McCune was retired from The Atlanta Journal Constitution and attended Independent Baptist Church in Clarkesville. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are wife of 35 years, Sandra Sinnemon McCune of Cornelia; children, Tray Crawford (Angie) of Rabun Gap, April Bonner of Alto, Teri Gerrin (Rodney) of Cornelia, Josh McCune of Cornelia, Angie McCune of Atlanta, Michelle McCune of Atlanta and Gary McCune of Atlanta; grandchildren, Shawntay, Brian, Jamey, Lydia and Hunter; great grandchildren, Brialey and Braydan Beck; brother, Arthur McCune of Forest Park; sisters, Peggy Carlisle of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Trudy Lowe of Smyrna; special nephew, Dale Sinnemon. Funeral services are at 11 am Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Johnny Loudermilk and Pastor Donnie Balenger officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
