Ruby Strange

Mrs. Strange's final place of rest is at Garden of Yonah II, B-17, Space 4. RUBY STRANGE, age 94 of Cornelia, GA died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Strange was born on October 15, 1913 in Banks County to the late Jesse Harrison and Hattie Pearl Garrison Strange. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Clarence, Herman, Olin, and Roy Strange; her sister Bonnie Floy Croft. She was a member of the B.C. Grant Baptist Church. She was a retired seamstress with Carwood Mfg. with 35 years of service. Mrs. Strange was the last of her immediate family. There are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are at 2:00 pm Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Rev. Doyal Conley officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
